PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA MODUL BERBASIS KOMPUTER PADA MATAKULIAH FISIKA MODERN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media modul berbasis komputer pada
matakuliah fisika modern pada materi relativitas. Pengembangan media modul tersebut diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam belajar mandiri dan memahami konsep fisika modern yang bersifat abstrak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan produk, berupa modul berbasis komputer. Pengembangan media modul menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi 5 tahap, yaitu Analysis (Analisis), Design (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), Evaluation (Evaluasi). Subjek penelitian ini adalah semester 4 (empat) program studi pendidikan fisika IKIP PGRI Madiun. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah serta pedoman wawancara, kuisioner media modul dan evaluasi materi beserta saran dari pakar maupun respon mahasiswa kelas kecil, dan kuisioner respon mahasiswa pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa dosen yang menggunakan media berbasis komputer hanya tiga orang pada matakuliah tertentu, sembilan dari 10 mahasiswa
menyatakan lebih tertarik jika dosen mengajar menggunakan media berbasis komputer, hanya satu dari 10 orang mahasiswa yang mampu berfikir analitik dan abstrak. Kuisioner desain dan penggunaan media modul memberikan presentase skor tinggi (77,78%), evaluasi materi pada skor sedang pada tahap I (58,33%), dan diperbaiki pada tahap II (72,22%), mahasiswa kelas kecil memberikan persentase respon tinggi (77,33%) dan mahasiswa pengguna 79,93% (tinggi).
