Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pop up book terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika materi bangun datar kelas IV SD Negeri 10 Palembang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 25 siswa, yang terbagi menjadi dua kelas , yaitu kelas A Eksperimen berjumlah 13 siswa dan kelas B kontrol 12 siswa. Penelitian berjenis kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimen Design), dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan  cara observasi dan tes soal essay dan pilihan ganda serta dokumentasi dan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas IV A eksperimen yang diajarkan menggunakan media pop up book lebih baik dibandingan dengan tanpa media pop up book, hal tersebut dibuktikan pada hasil rata-rata posttest siswa kelas IV A eksperimen adalah 75,61 sedangkan kelas IV B kontrol 70,25. Selain itu dibuktikan juga dengan hasil uji hipotesis yaitu T_hitung = 3,052  ≥ T_tabel = 1,720.
