MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES: OPTIMALISASI KEGIATAN PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA BERBASIS 8 KECERDASAN
Abstract
Pendidikan adalah kunci terpenting untuk membentuk masyarakat yang lebih berkualitas. Permasalahan yang ada di dunia pendidikan masih pada pengelolaannya yang berantakan. Kondisi pembelajaran masih berjalan satu arah, guru mengklaim dirinya menjadi satu-satunya sumber belajar yang paling benar dan tidak ada inovasi baru dari kegiatan pembelajaran yang terlaksana. Multiple intelligences adalah salah satu inovasi yang harus dilaksanakan di dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Teori kecerdasan yang dicetuskan oleh Howard Gardner ini dianggap efektif untuk menyempurnakan proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis delapan kecerdasan. Metode kualitatif dianggap mampu menjawab pertanyaan yang muncul pada penelitian ini. Hasilnya, dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa bersemangat mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran, dan pemahaman guru tentang batasan pada istilah siswa ‘pandai-bodoh’ terbangun.
