Aktivitas Antioksidan Krim “X†Dengan Metode DPPH ((1,1-Diphenyl-2-Picryl-Hidrazyl)

Produk kosmetik yang mengandung bahan alam sebagai antioksidan semakin banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat. Salah satunya produk kosmetik Krim “X†yang mengandung ekstrak temulawak. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan Krimâ€Xâ€. Pengujian aktivitas antioksidan dilakukan dengan metode DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl). Hasil analisia kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa Krim “X†mempunyai aktivitas antioksidan ditandai dengan memudarnya warna ungu pada larutan DPPH 0,4 mM menjadi warna kuning. Sedangkan secara Analisa kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa krim “X†mempunyai aktivitas antioksidan sangat lemah dengan nilai IC50 sebesar 969,65 ± 23,27 ppm.
