Penerapan Metode Problem Basic Learning (PBL) dengan Media Ular Tangga untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar dan Kemampuan Kosa Kata Bahasa Inggris pada Anak Sekolah Dasar di UPT 07 Gresik https://e-journal.unipma.ac.id/index.php/JRP/article/view/19941 <p><span class="fontstyle0">This research explores the use of snakes and ladders as a pedagogical tool to increase interest in learning and vocabulary skills in language among elementary school students. English vocabulary is a very important skill, and the PBL learning model with<br />snakes and ladders as a medium plays an important role in developing critical thinking and creativity. This research involved two teaching cycles using the PBL method, with each cycle focusing on increasing students' interest in learning and English vocabulary.<br />The results showed a marked increase in student engagement and interest in learning, reflected in higher post-test scores. Indonesia is a country that has a diversity of ethnicities, languages and cultures. Indonesia has the character of a society that is known to be friendly, polite and religious. Indonesia consists of tens of thousands of islands with tens of thousands of cultures, customs and regional languages in Indonesia. Even though it has diversity, Indonesia does privilege compared to other nations namely Indonesia has Pancasila. Embracing Pancasila values in schools strengthens Indonesian human identity which is carried out by practicing and strengthening the Pancasila profile, namely, having faith, fearing God Almighty, and having noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and being creative both when in the school environment and in the classroom. Observations were carried out at Pilangbango Elemantary School, Kartoharjo District, Madiun City using qualitative methods. The limited ability to understand students' social studies subject matter on types of work requires teachers to find solutions to improve students' ability to understand. So, teachers must provide innovations in learning to make students more active in understanding. One of the ways a teacher can use is by applying the tps (think pair share) type cooperative learning model assisted by puzzle media. In the application of this model, students are required to more easily understand the material on types of work and can differentiate between jobs that produce products and jobs that produce services. This research method uses a type of qualitative research with lesson plans and interviews as research instruments. Data collection techniques carried out in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the application of the tps (think pair share) type cooperative model assisted by puzzle media can make students excited, actively involved in learning and easily understand the material provided by the teacher. Hal ini tentu saja menuntut guru agar selalu mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan harus mempunyai inovasi pembelajaran tidak terkesan monoton dan harus berpusat pada peserta didik, dimana peserta didik harus aktif dan terlibat dalam mengikuti seluruh rangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran. Namun, saat proses pembelajaran, sering kali terlihat peserta didik tidur, malas, dan terkesan ingin segera pulang; apalagi dengan sedikitnya jumlah siswa serta pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di jam terakhir membuat peserta didik menjadi tidak bersemangat dalam belajar, sehingga menurunkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini merupakan upaya untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan belajar di siang hari pada jam terakhir pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Tujuan tersebut menjadi kendala bagi siswa kelas X DKV SMK S Cendekia Madiun karena banyak siswa yang kurang memahami teks LHO. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa dalam pembelajaran teks LHO adalah menerapkan permainan kata dalam pembelajaran. Permasalahan utama dalam pennelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa dalam pembelajaran teks LHO melalui permainan kata di kelas X DKV SMK S Cendekia Madiun. Hasil Akhir dari penelitian ini terdapat pada pra siklus dimana pembelajaran masih menggunakan metode ceramah. Siswa yang mampu tuntas belajar hanya sejumlah 7 siswa, dengan nilai tertinggi 80. Kemudian pada sisklus 1 penelitian menerapkan permainan kata dan hasil dari silkus 1 menunjukkan perkembangan yakni siswa yang mencapai tuntas belajar semakin banyak dengan jumlah ketuntasan belajar yakni sebanyak 9 siswa, dengan nilai tertinggi yakni 90. Pada siklus 2 masih dengan permainan kata, hasilnya adalah 10 siswa mencapai ketuntasan dari 11 siswa dengan nilai tertinggi 95. Dari hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil ketuntasan belajar setelah metode permianan kata diterapkan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks LHO di kelas X DKV SMK S Cendekia Madiun.</p> Erlinda Septika Susanti Panji Kuncoro Hadi Harning Diah Juni Astuti Copyright (c) 2024 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2024-12-25 2024-12-25 3 2 34 43 Penerapan Problem Based Learning (PBL) Melalui Media Kartu Gambar untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Memecahkan Masalah Pada Peserta Didik Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar https://e-journal.unipma.ac.id/index.php/JRP/article/view/21924 <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam memecahkan soal cerita bergambar dengan menerapkan pembelajaran problem based learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 20 anak kelas 4 di SD Negeri 02 Klegen Madiun. Penelitian menghasilkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam memecahkan soal cerita bergambar mengalami peningkatan dari 61,25% pada siklus I, kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 71,25%, dan meningkat hingga 84,25% pada siklus III.
