Abstrak
Percaya diri merupakan salah satu aspek yang perlu dikembangkan untuk menunjang prestasi akademik siswa. Hal ini akan memberikan penguatan pada diri siswa untuk dapat berkembang optimal sesuai dengan potensinya masing-masing. Salah satu teknik konseling yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan percaya diri adalah cognitive defusion. Teknik cognitive defusion adalah suatu teknik konseling yang digunakan untuk mengurangi pikiran negatif dengan mengubah konteks masalah yang terjadi. Pengubahan ini dilakukan dengan cara pengubahan bahasa dalam pikiran konseli. Bahasa tersebut berperan sebagai stimulus yang dapat mengubah tingkah laku.

Abstract
Self-confidence is one aspect that needs to be developed to support students' academic achievement. This will provide reinforcement in students themselves to be able to develop optimally in accordance with their respective potential. One of the counseling techniques that can be used to boost of self-confidence is cognitive defusion. The technique of cognitive defusion is a counseling technique used to reduce negative thoughts by changing the context of the problem.
